Give apartments tenancy

Make them expandable to a 2nd floor, too, honestly.

But mostly give us apartment tenants. Even if it's just one. A spot for the spouse. An assistant for your florist shop. A server for your teahouse. Having retainers/vendors/lights all locked for just a single person in every apartment is a brutal limitation.

I would LOVE to give tenancy to people for my apartments. With so many people unable to get houses, a lot of people (RP venue owners, spouses, Free Companies) make do with apartments. Being able to give other people tenancy would be a huge help for allowing other players equal access to the apartment features/functions when necessary. Otherwise, the apartment owner always has to be on hand/available to move things around and sometimes that's just not possible.

I am puzzled as to why this still isn't in the game yet. I suppose it's not there because apartments are just a copy paste of fc rooms, but that still doesn't explain why such a basic thing is still missing after so long. It's been several years at this point.

Sure there are enough apartments so everyone can have one, but this doesn't change the fact that people frequently love to share their living space with friends and SOs. Never mind how in rp you're quite limited if only one person in the group can interact with furnishings beyond emotes.

And yes 100% to being able to expand them. They're too basic in so many ways to feel like a legitimate alternative to houses.

It would be nice to let my partner actually use my apartment.

If they ever do that, I hope they also allow you to spawn back in it if you enter a duty or log out in it. I hate doing multiple duties in a row and getting kicked out because we were in there when we went into it.

I totally agree all for it. Especially with the difficulty of actually purchasing a house for many the ability to at lease share an apartment would be nice.

I'd love this too. As an aside, it would also help alts teleport to the main's personal house. Like, my personal is in LB w21, and I could just get an apartment there and quicktele straight to LB without having to go through the aetheryte every time.
