Can Square Enix enhance the old housing zones please?

I do hope that Square Enix can enhance the astethics to the old housing zones like Goblet, Mist and Gridania, maybe add more market boards, beautify the environments so the houses can be on par with super nice houses like Lavender Beds Plot 11/41 and Shirogane 30/60 that everyone is fighting over for. Some houses environments, placements near market board are underwhelming despite the price. Thank you.

Yeah...there are some things in various wards that could use some spicing up, but I too would prefer that they focus on addressing other issues first regarding player housing.

I’m trying to stay away from spoilers but I heard the ishgard housing area, if it is a housing area, has a slightly different design, npcs and is somewhat of a ‘better version’.

If that’s the case then I think it would be cool to add that kinda thing to the others. I don’t think it necessarily takes away from other things to have a small team spruce them up prior to a new expansion.

The wards are always going to feel empty. It's hard to expect 30 different owners to all be in a ward at the same time when everyone has different schedules for logging in and other content they want to do.

To get them to feel populated, you'd have to remove most of the other content in the game so there's no reason to be anywhere else then increase the number of plots so there's a greater chance of running into someone who's logged on at the same time you are.

The neighborhood idea was a nice concept but it was destined to die because no one took into consideration what players are actually doing when they log in (which generally is not hanging out in their yard).

I just felt that the other housing zones shld be balanced to Shirogane level and not that a plot in Shiro for example cost lesser than other houses in other zones but have nicer view and stuff. Just some slight adjustments will make it balanced.

I would argue that Shirogane has its own issues too. Plots barely have any room to breathe since most of them are so close together, as one example. I'm glad I have plot 28, the mountain plot. It is up away from basically everyone else and the view still isn't half bad. There also doesn't seem to be quite as much scenery around some plots as there is in other districts, mostly on the western half. I'd say it's like the Goblet in that respect, which could also use some sprucing up.

I like that actually, it reminds me of when I lived in Japan.
There are places in the world built like this (like the place Shirogane is based off of) and it's just a different style, a different way of doing things with it's own pros and cons.

Oh, I get what they were going for. I guess I just don't like the close quarters. For me, I see it as a con. Like I said before, just glad I got a plot away from it all. lol I like the general aesthetic of Shirogane. There's just some small things I nitpick every now and then.
