Weird fallacy indeed, given that questing at level 50 isn't much different to 49 or 51.

Though I have to say your instant grasp of what we're talking about, apparent desire to pick a fight and curious choices in customising your character name collectively have me questioning whether you're genuinely new or a certain repeating troll.

You can level other jobs and classes while you are at it. You may get more xp that way.

No idea what you're talking about, but calling people a troll for 0 reason is pretty sad.

And questing at 50 is substantially different so far: I won't have new skills or abilities for a LONG time, compared to playing the game so far. "Don't you like playing the game" is the actual troll response, but kudos for being the worst interaction I've had in the game so far!

No, you're watching cutscenes to gain access to level 80 skills. Because the story is the only way to progress further into the game, unless you want to do roulettes until you're 80 and then be extremely overleveled for any story quests.
But even then, you can't get all your skills until you do the story because 50+ job quests require you to go to the areas you can't unlock unless you do MSQ.

The story is the center of the game. If you're not enjoying the story there is a big chance you'll get bored of the game quickly.
Level 50 quests aren't there to give you EXP, there are here to lead you into the story of the next expansion just like level 60, 70 and 80 post-MSQ quests.

You have it a lot easier now even. They cut like half of the level 50 quests some patches ago to make it faster for new players to get to Heavensward.
