moving gil from 1 account to another

I decided a while ago on switching my main characters ( this is not it ). I need to move a sizable amount of gil from 1 character to another. I don't want my characters to be locked out or worse. Is there anything I should know about ahead of time if I plan to do this? Both accounts are very active, all 50's 7/7 ifrit etc its not like this is from lvl 1 mules.

Must be great not having to work and pay bills.
