what's everyone think will be announced?

Expansion.
- Trailer
- Title
- Release date

any chances it will have expansion/job details since by now we should have had at least 1 fan fest and are behind on details only 1 patch left for the expansion and we have had no details on 6.0 at all.

Probably one job will be revealed with the trailer. Maybe both jobs(?)
I don't expect them to go into detail about the revealed job(s). They might show us the job(s) battle actions & animations on the dummy.

Details about all the changes happening to the game. I doubt we will be getting this because the announcement did not specify the duration of the stream. There might not be enough time to dive into details. They will have to make a 2nd stream a month or two before the expansion for that.

It's not just about the term, it's what you put around it.

Just "Announcement Showcase!" sounds like the thread may contain new announcements.

If you're questioning or speculating it is much better to put a question mark at the end of your title than an exclamation mark.

This is a large-scale peeve of mine. People will post a thread like "Blue mage in deep dungeons!" (or anything else exciting with an exclamation mark) and you think there's been a new announcement that it's coning, but no, the poster is just really eager to tell you about how it should be a thing. Put a question mark and it's clearly speculative.

I don't because I've been on the internet long enough to be familiar with people failing to understand proper grammatical formatting, punctuation and have accepted it as it is. (and thrown it aside in some cases myself for the sake of brevity) As should anyone whose been around since the early 2000s—you should be used to this.

Yeah... no. Adding a question mark behind "announcement showcase" would make even less sense as it would imply they are confused about it, rather than the speculative excitement they're wanting to show— "Announcement Showcase?" That doesn't imply speculative discussion, and only gives a sense that they are confused about what it is or might be, which defeats the point entirely.

As such, both the thread title and your suggestion are poorly formed titles which do not give any context into what the thread might be about.

Trailer and title for the next expansion. The new job(s) teasers.. not given away theyre roles.. the next event to tie us over until 5.45 an maybe the event for after that patch too.. announcement on the next limited job for between the 5.5 an 6.0 wait.. Beastmaster or Puppet Master.. probably Beast because Baja.. a small sampling of the music from the next expansion an hopefully talk about a healer an tank changes for 6.0

I don't think that's likely. MMOs are a huge risk, and very expensive to make. They're already having trouble keeping 14 on any kind of schedule (I can't imagine what is happening with their other projects. They at least have to be somewhat upfront with 14 development).

I'm thinking we're going to get the usual glamour and housing item reveal. They'll discuss their vision for what healers should be (the final removal of our fun button :c). They may show some more old concept art of viera and hrothgar with statements about the hair situation. The, of course, new expansion teaser. I don't think we'll be getting any information about it other than a title.

SE already has 3 mmos that are on going (FF11,14, and DQX) Making another mmo would make little sense since you'd be competing against yourself and i dont think they will be killing off one of the mmos yet.
