Visuals "hanging" in cutscenes, some duties

I've been playing for a few months now and everything's been pretty smooth technically, save this one problem.

In cutscenes that involve a lot of camera movement, oftentimes I experience a sort of visual lag - the camera seems to move slowly for a half-second, then quickly for a half-second like it's catching up to where it should be, repeatedly. Of course it's not a half-second exactly. It's quick enough to be disorienting and slow enough to notice.

Anyway if it was just cutscenes I wouldn't bother looking into it further, but there's a couple of duties where I perpetually have the same issue, and it gets close to making me motion-sick since I'm moving around and trying to do things. I've only noticed it in The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak and the First Binding Coil of Bahamut so far, not in any later content. It might be in later raids in the Binding Coil as well, I've only done the first so far.

With such a vague issue I'm not expecting a specific fix, but I'd love to know if there's some specific graphics settings you'd recommend messing with. I'm playing on the PC version on Adamantoise server and otherwise hit a consistent 60 fps with minimal lag. If I can provide any further info please let me know!

We apologize for the delay in responding. To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this issue happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
