Whilst I do agree, you should be AoE'n mobs, but if you don't like it; and aren't willing to be part of a solution in some way, shape, or form. Then I'll say what I always have, make some friends and go in as a premade, or partial static.

This or idk go to pf if you want to play in a specific way.
But don't be surprised if no one wants to join players who want small pulls or/and single target.
Works vice versa really, you go into Duty Finder or roulettes and you get what you're given and live with it. Call it deflecting, or detracting from thee problem or what other silly label people wish to use; but that's the price you pay for using either of the following. I'm not a fan of people not utilizing even half their job kit, whether optimally or not, but I understand rambling on the forums and being reluctant to give feedback whether people ask for it or not is something that solves nothing. Even if it's just half the people you encounter that listen, that in itself is still worth it alone. If people aren't too receptive that is on them, and well if you get reported for giving feedback to players and GMs even follow up or find it actionable then the chances the issue is with the player giving the feedback; not the person receiving it.
Besides, SE could do wonders themselves if they had a proper in-game help system that elaborated even just a little more than it already is. Heck, we ironically have an active help menu for combos, despite the fact they glow when it's a combo-able action, yet do nothing to cover, say, trash packs. Granted it should be an expectancy, but then so should reading your skills to find out if they are combo-able or not in the first place.

Not sure why you wrote this, seems a waste considering I never implied that other MMOs have a proper in-game help system, nor did I draw a basis for comparison with other MMOs. But just in case I didn't make it clear; I Just suggested that they probably could do a better job with their current in-game help system (or Active Help as they call it) to teach players about other core mechanics of the game which I don't think is a particular stretch, given some of the active help sub-categories they have incorporated.

I mean you can look at it that you're giving up any responsibility to craft the environment you want and telling the game to do your matching for you, then whining like a child that you didn't get what you wanted. If people can't roll with what they get, why are they using Duty Finder? You never know what you're going to get and it's the ultimate test of your flexibility as a player.
Like you say you have to roll with what you get, it goes both ways. Players who can do big dps and want fast runs have to chill (don't expect savage/ultimate lvl player all the time). Players who refuse to use aoes have to make some effort, even if you fail and it's not as fun as you wanted it's ok lol (there's 3 boss per dungeon where using single target rotation is way better).THIS

You know, if you have THAT MUCH of a problem with it, you could always try to report the player for Obstruction and demand the devs address the concept of the legality of substandard play -- which of course could lead to the legalization of parsers and the like.
Or just kick them. It's an 80 dungeon; they should know by now.
