Flickering Scenery and Characters

Since the last patch (5.41), I have discovered that in certain areas (Sea of Clouds, Azsz Lla) present constant flickering. The whole screen does not flicker - instead elements of the scene do: characters flicker in and out, bits of scenery flicker in and out, all in under a second. It is highly unpleasant visually, and head-ache inducing.

Please advise if there is some way to fix it. My specs are;

Mac OS 10.14.6
3.6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 560 4 GB

'Upgrading' to OS 11 or 10.15 is not an option for various reasons, and I tried changing screen resolutions and it did not seem to help, although perhaps i was supposed to change it to a specific number? This problem did not exist before the 5.41 patch.

Were any any updates or changes made to the computer? Does the flickering occur, if the game is uninstalled and reinstalled?

Hello, sorry for the late response. There were no changes to my computer (no updates of any kind), but playing around with my settings I seem to have found the solution. I noticed that the problem disappeared when the setting were set to Maximum, and reappeared when they were set back down to high. I compared different settings off one another, and the issue seems to be that the flickering is caused by Occlusion Culling being turned on.
