Game crashes on login only when logging with my main character

Game crashes when logging in with one specific character, others work fine. I've tried all methods provided by SE support and then some more. I never actually get to the game, it always crashes during the load screen. The behavior is the same on other computers.

What I've retried:
- Reinstalling game
- Formatting PC (multiple times) and just installing the game (+ steam)
- Updating nvidia graphics driver
- Installing all windows updates, including optionals
- Tried using other computers, same error

If I remember correctly I believe that last time I managed to play with this character the game had crashed mid game with this error. Since then I cannot play anymore with my main.

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

Just tried deleting that folder, same issue persists. I have now 3 characters in the same situation.

Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

Yes it also happens when it's the only program running. I do always need steam do, since I bought FFXIV there.

Could you try the following:

-Disable any overlays such as Discord if they are being used.

- Try lowering the resolution

- Run the game in borderless full screen or windowed mode

I tried that, didn't work. My characters seem to crash when I first go to The Ruby Sea, after which they always crash at login. I've lost my old characters and also 3 new ones. One of those characters I was playing on my laptop, and it just crashed all the same. This really looks like it's something on your side. Is there nothing you can do? I've already tried pretty much every conceivable potential solution, including the dozen ones suggest by FFXIV support, nothing does it. Can you now please investigate your side? This really looks like it's a server issue...

I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that has occurred when attempting to access the game. I am able to provide trouble shooting that may help fix the issue.

Could you try using a registry cleaner such as CC cleaner? It would run through the PC and remove files that may have been left behind by installations and other activity on the PC.

Same issue. First only one char and now all. Tried every solution posted on reddit, forums and online. None work and so far i havnt seen a single person who has had this issue say any of the solutions have worked for them. Ive tried all the solutions on multiple different computers with multiple different installations.
