I do! I visit my apartment every few days, take a shower, and soak in the hot tub.

I consider my character as someone who cleans-up very well, and unquestionably would wind down each night with a hot shower and some soothing herbal tea and music. She is still an adventurer though, and can't put too much mind on getting/being dirty.
I have a couple of screenshots of my character relaxing in the tub, but it isn't something I actively do to feel immersed in the game. However, for some reason I feel compelled to wave hello to the NPCs that work in my residence the first time I enter for the day lol.
It's not that hard if you don't dump them in a bath tub like a lot of people do. My mom would use a bucket, they wont fight as much. Water scares the crap out of them because they feel they are at a tactical disadvantage(they can't swim fast, cannot run, cannot jump, making them easy pickings for predators, also they can drown from exhaustion).

Yep. I've given two cats a bath. The owner always came out with scratches, but they never once even hissed with me. It's all about doing it right just like you said. It's not that hard if you don't dump them in a bath tub like a lot of people do. My mom would use a bucket, they wont fight as much. From what I understand about lore, and I know the restoration item lore is VERY serious, most Ishgardians don't bathe so they use soap as weapons rather than cleaning tools
That explains Estinien never cleaning his damn armor.
