Here we are again, more job locked glams and 15 glam plates

So there are 11 new glam sets added in patch 5.41. One set for each DoH/DoL job. Each glam can only be used on that job. OH but wait, I have ONE gear set for all crafters and ONE for all gathers. I'll just use glam plates. Yeaaahh that's no good. I'm already using them for other jobs.

THERE SHOULD BE MINIMUM OF 30 AVAILABLE GLAM PLATES! That's at least 1 for each job. In my opinion there should be 45 glam plates because that's the max number of saved gear sets you can have.

Look at all these fancy new gear sets that most people won't be able to use.

On topic, yes, PLEASE. I already have to get overwrite plates all the time, especially because of Job-locked gear. At one point I had 3 different plates with the only the top being different because one was the Plague Bringer, another the Plate Doctor and the third whatever the Ranged version was called. We need a better glamour system.

Would be nice. The Korean version even have the crafter/gather AF in the cash shop

I'm fine with that if they go the other way and allow combat gear to be glammed on tradeskill roles. Though they really should just remove glamour restrictions entirely and let us glam how we want.

As to the OP, at the very least a plate for each class. I'd love to use some of my old DoH/DoL looks but I've used up everything for my adventuring classes.

I was working on my machinist glamour the other day and looking for a necklace/choker....yeah, all the ones I liked were DoH/L

Gear sets can store glamour information and give a warning if the equipped item had a different glamour. We should be able to use them to apply the glamour instead of just warn of the mismatch.
