Because the purpose of random is it’s randomness. You can get something once, twice, three times maybe even four in a row because each shot is a random chance.
Exactly. The entire point of random is that it's not guaranteed. You aren't always going to get an even split. It's possible to get the same roll 50 times, it's possible to roll a different result every time. It's possible to fail a 99% chance twice in a row and succeed a 1% chance three times in a row.

It's always amusing when you see people complain that something can't possibly be random, because it's not being consistent.
