So just like linkshells but with fancy colors? And wasn't there another social thing added relatively recently, fellowships or something? I'm not sure that we need yet another one.

No this could be a great idea if handled well. They could add permissions to allow access to housing for fc to share houses which would help with the housing shortage, actions could stack, there could be a separate alliance point system, like fc points with items that would be more exclusive to or help benefit the fc system overall. It doesn't have to be just another ls, they could do a whole lot from it.

And most importantly, it could encourage belonging to an fc in the first place, because as it stands right now, there is really no need to join one.
