Would you want a /repair "item" option in the future?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I would really like this to be an option.

Are you tired of scrolling down your inventory list just to 'select' an item to repair it? It can get incredibly tedious when you have multiple jobs' gear you must repair and multiple crafts required to do it. What's even more annoying is if you forget to repair a certain piece of gear, go to equip that job, and suddenly realize 'oh no! I have to repair this piece too!'

    For these troubles, I suggest:

    /repair "item"
    /rep "item" for short

This would be a macro that would have the same exact function as selecting the item and clicking 'repair'. With this function, you would be able to make multi-line macros to repair multiple pieces of gear at once. (For instance, you might want to mimic your gear-changing macro when attempting to repair for that specific job.) Even if you can't kneel and repair all pieces at one time (like you can when repairing other people's gear), the macro will still work as intended if spammed.

Do you think this is a good idea or bad idea? Do you think it will add to the crafting experience or reduce it? Do you prefer the current system as it is, or would you like to see it changed in a different way from what I have mentioned here?

Edit: In case I was unclear, this option would specifically be for YOU while you are on the CORRECT crafting class to repair that certain piece of gear. Ex: For a cloth piece, you must be on your weaver crafting class to use this option or it will not work (even if you have that job at the correct level, it must be equipped).
