Wireless bluetooth controller not working anymore.

I've been playing the game with a wireless PS4 controller using DS4Windows for ages now. So far it all worked perfectly, but the past few days the game refuses to let me chose a controller in the device settings. The game defaults to Wireless Controller (which of course is the DS4 without emulated XInput), and whenever I chose XBOX360 Controller after a few seconds it changes back to Wireless Controller, with or without giving input. The game also stopped taking input from controllers altogether, as usually even the Wireless Controller setting would take input (though pretty wonky and barely working). I never had this issue and usually the controller being detected as 2 Inupts has never been a problem since choosing one would just disable the other in-game. Help would be greatly appreciated as I have tried alot of things, namely reinstalling the game (a bit overboard I know), restarting my PC several times, changing Bluetooth device, reinstalling DS4Windows and my controller drivers and lastly disabling Steams desktop configuration and/or closing Steam altogether (as it is known to sometimes interfere with other inputs).

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Try using a genuine Xbox360 or Xbox One controller (preferably wired) as these are compatible with Windows OS.
    - Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
    - Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
    - Disable all other device drivers, leaving the mouse, keyboard, and controller as the only active devices.
    - If you are using a specialized gaming keyboard, try using a different keyboard to ensure there are no conflicts between the devices.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse, keyboard, and controller.
    - Make sure Windows has been fully updated from the Microsoft/Windows Update website.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
