It is most likely bots and gil sellers that is trying to get people to move, then they make 1 person FCs, and sell the house illegally on reddit or other places.

A simple option to kick them would also be great, with a cooldown until they can come back in. I'd say an hour, enough to deter them, but it could even be as low as 10 minutes. We just need the ability to do this. Our RP venue is open Saturday and Sunday, and guess what? They were there both days, doing the same things, on the same character, and stalking the same person. So this time not only are they being an ass, but the GMs didn't ban them after another round of mass reporting.
guess you would like teso housing. problem like that don't exists there, since you have blacklists and also instanced housing. housing there is far mor superior in my opinion. also whole other gameworld.
It is my opinion that anyone on your blacklist should not be able to enter your house, or be able to enter a fc house if the fc master blacklisted them.
But making the above happen might mean changing a lot of the backend of how blacklisting works, so it might not be possible right now.
I suppose alternatively SE could make a house specific blacklist which denies entry to those on it. But I don't know if this would be easier or harder than expanding what the current blacklist does.
Anyway OP I'm sorry that this is happening to you. I hope that grifer gets bored soon and you'll be left alone.
I'm bumping up this thread as I am also a victim of harassment, not just by one person but all his friends from various worlds. I open my house as a cafe and theres no way to keep them from coming in even though I have already blacklisted them. Cant even get them to leave. Right now I am forced to give up on the RP aspect of the game and keep my cafe closed so those griefers would stop harassing me.
This is one of the prime example of why the "all or nothing" approach to who can enter your residence is really stupid.
I thought the updated TOS was supposed to be stricter on griefing and harassment. Are these problems still going on?
I have already reported them to the GMs and i trust that they will be fair in handling this case. The GMs will not be able to share the outcome with me as they have to uphold privacy policy, which i completely understand. But even if/after the culprits got punished, the GMs cannot guarantee that they will not repeat their offences.
Tldr; I have no idea whether this harassment will continue, and at this moment i dont want to go through the grief of opening up to get potentially harassed by others.
In fact, it is the GMs' recommendation that I voice out on this issue on the official forum. I have faith that the developers will take notice of this issue and make the necessary changes >< /prays hard
Some of these people that do things like this are really very sad. How empty is his life for him just to troll you like that all the time? Wish people like this were just home world banned after multiple violations.
Wise men speak because the have something to say, fools because they have to say something. - Plato - He saw the ff forums apparently.
Blacklist and friendlist would be nice. Here's an idea.... * TP = Teleport
TP | Access | Who may have access to your Estate?
[ X ] [ X ] Free Company
[ X ] [ X ] Friends
[ X ] [ X ] White List
[ X ] Grant Estate's Full Access with Spouse
[ X ] Grant Estate access to your alternative characters
[ Whitelist ] [ Block List]
* Blocked List will create a barrier around your estate's property, preventing the player from accessing any part of your estate.
On a sidenote, I wish that people you blacklist would not be able to see your name in-game, make it possible to search for you and overall just make it so you don't exist to them. The same would happen for the other way around to prevent weird stalking situations.
