Left-handed Jobs

So something go me thinking about how each job is portrayed, and it got me curious about what hand is dominant for each job. I noticed something interesting about one job, that might be a bit of an easter egg. So most of the job are depicted as right-handed (PLD, WAR, DRK, GNB, BRD, MCH, SAM, WHM, AST, BLM, RDM) besides those that use two weapons at once (MNK, NIN, DNC). SMN and SCH however are left-handed. But, DRG is also appears to be left handed, and this might be a reference to Kain from FFIV being left-handed. It also seems like Fang, who is used for the female DRG modeling might also be left handed. Its an interesting easter egg, but it makes me wonder will we get any more left-handed jobs in the future.

I think it's probably for the sake of modeling consistency that almost all of them are right handed.

Smn and sch are left handed? So are you meaning they are because they hold their book in their left hand or because they hold the pen when summoning in their left hand?

ACN/SMN/SCH /vpose emote has them write with their left hand so it's safe to assume they're left handed, or ambidextrous

perhaps its a case of the WOL being cross dominant OR its a fighting style thats built into the job
monster hunter for example, even though the hunters are right handed, they equip shields in their dominant hand as part of their training so they have better defences

Also I remember once someone saying the way an archer holds the bow is due to eye dominance and not if they're right or left handed... or did I read that wrong?

When they summon they use their left hand. I wanted to be sure, so when I was playing yesterday I went through all of their skills, every action that uses a hand/arm to denote an attack, uses the left.

It's not so much about what dominance the WoL has, it was more about what hand is shown to be used most often.

This is what I think. It's mostly just easier to model, but the fact DRG is left handed seems to be a fun node.

They hold the book with their right hand.
Which means they write/gesture with the left.
