Then he takes that and runs with it and makes a bunch of other terrible topics that he spent no more than 15 seconds thinking up, and the cycle repeats.

Sorry but I can't get behind this one. Like other posters have said, sounds like it would add too much complexity to the system. Also too much development time, when there are a lot of more important things for them to focus on right now.

The only thing i see how this is a terrible idea(which is not) would be the inventory space. Though, I don't get the complaint about it being fixed and this would ruin it,"easier, less complicated". In fact there would be less ingredients(same easiness) to some foods, it just adds another level. Ya creating it would be hard, but we cant dismiss the idea they could take something from this and apply it later on with something else.
