1. Stop bitching about Rokien. It's coming to a point where the complaints about him are just as annoying as his complaints.
2. That's actually not a bad idea at all.

3. stop enabling him. he clearly has an unhealthy addiction and he needs to be stopped before he ruins his life.
or this forum.

4. I'm en- No this is dumb.
I'm encouraging him making good threads and suggestions instead of just canceling out someone I don't agree with most of the time. This isn't about enabling or some social nonsense. This is about game development. Critical thinking about game design and structure is not a bad thing. I'm not going to pick sides like this was some dumb social clique.
I have the feeling you're making a subtle analogy....So, today when I was making me some homemade pizza, I was thinking, there should be a way to add and subtract ingredients from some food. Like, I don't put cheese on my pizza, or mayo on sandwich. They could have slightly different effects to go with it.
Give thoughts and ideas please!
This concept is so good. Keep the ideas coming, Rokien!

Taking away one random ingredient and substituting another random ingredient to get a total stat difference of 1 to a random stat on every piece of food sounds like grade 5 err...A SE material to me.

Well, idk, I don't eat any Red meat, I eat turkey burgers, bacon what have ya. So instead of Miqkabobs you can have sheep kabobs a more lean meat healthier for you, so instead of STR it will be placed with DEX or what have ya. With anything without cheese or whatever, instead of VIT(stronger bones) you will have ACC or whatever. Idk, but this is what these forums are for, to discuss these types of things.

Sheep meat should give VIT being leaner and healthier, also I think you should be able to use more fire shards/crystals to get a toasted effect, I mean they offer it at subway and other places so why not here?

I disagree.
And I'm not a Rokien hater, I actually think some of his ideas are not so bad, but this one is just stupid.
One or two patches ago we finally came to the point where recipes for everything, including food, got easier, less complicated, less "You will have to carry around 300 different ingredients for one slice of pizza".
But now Rokien comes and thinks it is a good idea to make those recipes even WORSE than before with 34 different versions of every recipe..
(Because, you know, I like my pizza with 4 different kinds of cheese and some Dodo meat, but a friend of mine really enjoys pizza with 5 different kinds of fish..while another one wants only one kind of fish with some mushrooms..)

This. If implemented, this would be an inventory nightmare. First of all, how are these variances going to be listed? Mithkabob- Hold the Onion? Sub Sandwhich No Mayo + 1?One or two patches ago we finally came to the point where recipes for everything, including food, got easier, less complicated, less "You will have to carry around 300 different ingredients for one slice of pizza".

Think carefully about this. Look up every food recipe and then multiply each one by the ingredients involved, and possible substitutions. Now add that total again for +1's. Then you have to come up with unique stats for each, and every one. There comes a point when adding overly complicated systems serves no genuine purpose beyond complicating things.
