Name something more immersion breaking than the new ishgard glamour

SE, it's time we address the issue that keeps getting worse and worse every patch.

Every patch it seems like my sub money is being wasted on new stuff that just keeps breaking my immersion every time I try to get into this game! I remember why I raid log now, and it's not because of the lack of content, but because of all the immersion breaking stuff that I keep seeing!

I can take the chocobo costume, all the cat girls in school uniforms and 2b legging, but this new glamour just crossed the line! Why adding MODERN CLOTHING to a FANTASY game?! A fanny pack??? Sneakers??? Really??

People keep praising this game for the story, but how can anyone get immersed in it when more and more immersion breaking glamour keeps getting added?!

SE, please give us an option to hide other players glamours and please stop making the problem even worse than it currently is!

Hiding Glamour wont solve the problem. Some players like myself wear pieces that break immerision we don't always use them as glamour. Then you got non immerision breaking gear being used as glamour. So removing glamour only partly solves your problem and leaves you with two more problems to take its place.

Next we need some more casual battle wear like Devil May Cry. Sick jackets, hoodies, worn out jeans, mandals and all. This game is already so anime it hurts sometimes. Let's embrace it.

Really hope it isn't genderlocked. Other then that i fail to see what's immersion breaking about it, we have seen those designs multiple times already.

I would say the giant chocobo heads, pig suits and frog suits are much more immersion breaking, and they've been around for years already. While the new Ishgardian stuff is a little standout, it's not really that out of phase considering what various characters in other FF titles outside of FF14 have worn before. FF has almost always had some weird and/or anachronistic style choices.

When i can stop you from playing as a lala, then you can stop me from dressing how i want. I dont even like the new outfit, i just want all of the options possible to be available. More freedom, more choices!

Hate the shoulder fanny pack, but other than that the glam is gorgeous. Will be grabbing that!
