It would be fun to have a group to socialize with the story around and do the dungeons and trials with. Just comes down to time constraints.
Some of the smaller FCs in game built themselves up that way when the game was new. I knew several groups like that, and they always made me kinda envious.
Then again, once raids started getting harder and half the group wanted to go through with them, and the other half didn't want to go through with them, I didn't envy watching them fall apart. I didn't even experience schadenfreude(though I rarely experience that anyway).
I'd think if you wanted to do this, you'd want to get a small group together where everyone plays something different and agrees to level two different roles. Meet up twice a week for a few hours on the meet days. Focus on having fun, rather than on just advancing. Could be great.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
ReynTime sounds like you want to play an mmorpg or what they used to be in the good old times. Nothing wrong wanting to experience that.
