Glam Plates for base item?

So I'd like to play more than one casting job at 80 and use my exarchic gear, and I'd like to be able to see my exarchic glam on one of them, but not the other... is the only way to do this to actually buy ANOTHER exarchic casting set? Or be forced to dispel them every time i want to switch jobs?

Seems to me that would be the only way to do it. In which case, would it be too much to ask to get a better glam system? Like other MMO's already have?

If you want the appearance of gear you're currently using, you can put the gear in the dresser and add it to a plate, then remove the original gear without affecting the plate.

(But note that this will lose any materia attached to the gear, so don't go sticking your pentamelded stuff in there.)

If you use job specific gear for the second job as the glamour, you don't need to go to effort every time since the first job can't use it so it would default back to the Exarchic gear appearance. Otherwise, you really don't have much choice.
