While true, the way they changed it up to dungeon before solo instance, and a split quest where you go can here or there, helped as well since there was a larger population of players at the time of launch.
This is the only reply this thread needed. It is right on the money. Next! Why would Raubahn return?
You bring up stuff from 2.0 and stormblood, but fail to mention the fact that 5.0's launch was effectively perfect besides some very small hiccups. They now have a queueing system for solo instances if far too many people try all at once, so there'll never be a 'spam click and hope you get in'. Now it's just 'click, go make some food and wait your turn.'
When they feel the servers are congested, they have a system where they can soft-reset the servers to remove every single afk player and any players trying to circumvent afk kick measures.
They intentionally moved the first solo instance of 5.0 past the first dungeon to further split and breakup the playerbase during the initial rush hours of 5.0.
They'll lock pretty much any server that is even remotely near capacity from character creation before 6.0 drops to prevent sudden surges of new players trying to get onto bigger servers from causing even greater congestion.
To claim there's been no infrastructure or design changes is completely ridiculous. I have no doubts 6.0's launch will be a similar repeat of 5.0's - 95% painless outside of the usual server hiccups force dc/ing everyone that happens every expansion.
It wasn't just the Raubahn solo instance that was causing problems. A quest or two after Raubahn there was another solo instance originating with Pipin and SAM and RDM both started with solo instances. It was the combination of SAM, RDM, Raubahn and Pipin all being solo instance content that caused the traffic jam.
HW and StB both started with split pathing. In HW, you went to help the Fortemps sons in SoC and CWH before returning to CWH to progress the story. In StB, after traveling a bit through the Fringes there was a bit of questing in the Peaks and Fringes before the story merged together right before the traffic jam at Raubahn.

I'm not going to argue with people.
The message I'm referring to literally says, the exact words of the message are:
"This world is currently full."
That means.... the world is full.
so it puts you in a queue to wait to log in. Because. it is full.
Meaning no more players can log into it. The queue is literally stopping players from logging in, until other players log out or use world visit to another world.
That is literally what it means, and you all try to say "Raubahn this, 2.0 that" those are all examples of congestion ---along side--- the congestion that is ---constant---- because you get a message when you log in literally saying the world is full.
There is literally nothing to argue about. Its a fact. The message is not fake. I didnt make it up.
The question I posed was when 6.0 releases and there are ------more------ players, how do you think Square-Enix is going to handle it. As literally right now the worlds are full. Full, too many people logged in, so you sit in a queue to log in to wait for others to log out.
I cant say it literally any other way.
Go argue with the Developer.
No.
Free trial was expanded since the release of version 5.0.
The message I'm referring to literally started after the launch of version 5.0 and exactly after the free trial was expanded.
The person you quoted and what you said doesnt address the exact thing I'm stating that the world is full, and you get a message saying that it is full, and you have to sit in a queue to wait to log in, and then in 6.0 new players are going to join meaning the worlds are going to stay full, and the log in queue is going to be much longer.
Sometimes I literally think people dont speak English.

That can't be what that means or you wouldn't see ques of hundreds to thousands immediately after the system comes back up after a patch. The worlds aren't full of players before anyone can log in. Players that somehow got in early but only stay for a few minutes, then orderly log out which let's others trickle in.
You dismissed this response, but this is what's happening:

You put Raubhan Extreme right in the title of the thread, then complain when people discuss Raubahn Extreme? Oooookay.
Your thread title is bad then. Raubahn EX refers to a completely different problem than that.
Also that message actually occurs based on the datacenter's login/character selection server load. The login/character selection server can only connect about 40 or 50 characters to each server every 30 seconds. You can see this easily when the servers go back up on patch days. The queue will often say "This world is currently full." and 300+ characters in queue but will quickly go down as players connect to the various worlds.
That message doesn't mean what you think it means. The server isn't full, it's just many people trying to log in at the same time.I'm not going to argue with people.

FF14 login servers always had issues with handling too many logins at the same time. Thus SE started throttling server access by putting people in queues if the amount of people trying to log in exceeds a certain amount.
Basically a system that keeps it stable.
Because if you're trying to tell me that my server is full, I'm just gonna look at you funny.
You do you pal. You want to blow this out of proportion for no reason whatsoever? Have a ball. I have faith in SE. I am not worried about it at all.I'm not going to argue with people.

Poster who makes negative posts about XIV makes new negative post about XIV.
More at 11.
The login message -> lobby server slowly processing people logging in to prevent lobby server from crashing.
No solo instances in first 5 quests of expansion.
Also, 2.0 was 7 years ago.
