    Essay aside... You forgot that we already have one layer of restrictions, namely the fact that we are restricted to 11-12 slots of gear that we can't edit further outside of maybe predetermined colors. The additional layer which is job/race/sex specific is just superfluous and frequently ignored by the devs themselves.
