Please fire whoever hired the voice actor for Ga Bu and the Ga Bu voice actor

I'm not even joking here. This is some; "Do you have a voice at all whatsoever? Yes!? You're hired!" tier of voice acting work and pulls you out of the scenes entirely. Please aim even an angstrom higher than bottom of the barrel next time.

Nope. I'd say a lot of the VA work that goes into the game is hit or miss though. But when they get it right, they REALLY get it right. Gosetsu comes to mind. It just doesn't happen very often, at least in my opinion.

Voices are always going to be divisive, I personally liked the Kobolds voices, Cid's is taking some getting used to but I'm warming up to it, pretty sure it's the same VA, perhaps it's just he gets voices to infrequently but he just sounds different to me, not bad though.

My favorite part about the Japanese dub is what they did to Yuyuhase.
And for any about to watch this clip, remember, this is the first time Yuyuhase speaks. Before this scene he isn't voiced yet.

He sounded different to me to, but not too bad. And when I heard Lyse, her VA sounded very tired at first. Think we're gonna have to start expecting changes in the VA department, hopefully it won't be consistent.

I can't understand Japanese. Also, Japanese voice acting is so over the top that it is distracting.

I'd wished they sounded a bit more like the Mord, but I didn't have a problem with the voiced kobolds as they weren't spectacular nor bad.
