    Can't install: runtime error, abnormal program termination

    Hello, I just got a new laptop (omen 15, windows 10) and tried to install FFXIV. Whenever I start the setup and select my region, the same error page always pops up :
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime Error!

    Program:...SY XIV - A Realm Reborn\Tempinstaller1\ffxivinstaller.exe

    Abnormal program termination

    I have tried several ways to fix it, but none of them worked:
    restart the laptop
    redownload the setup file
    update the visual C++ to latest version
    turn off firewall

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Does this issue happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
