Spawners have to be I specific places some times to spawn. And it is random where the s rank spawns.

The spawners have a right to get on the fight. To say otherwise is pure selfishness.

It is open world, there are no rules, and the rules made up by the community cannot be enforced

If you are spawning a Tarchia in Ahm Araeng and you didn't set your res to the nearest Aetheryte and somehow someone doesn't res you (very rare) you are screwed.
If you spawn a Bird of Paradise, very squishy HW S Rank that can get nuked easily, and that Squonk is on the other side of the huge Sea of Cloud map? well tough luck
If you are a spawner and use no third party tools, and you are not narrowing down the S rank spot by killing B ranks in the area to give yourself a chance to know where its gonna spawn and get there in time, you are decreasing your chances to get it, this is what Jojoya means by poorly prepared

The only randomness is when the S rank will be available in that window, the where can be figured out

It would be amazing if people waited but hunting is the Far West, it's much better to be prepared for worst case scenarios, and if you miss some, get the next ones

It is not random where a S rank will spawn. Their next spawn location is set when they die (unless a maintenance happens in the meantime). Rank A hunts cannot spawn in a location reserved by a S rank and Rank B hunts can't spawn in locations reserved by the other 2.

Spawners and others who help coordinate hunts track those things, whether manually or through the use of mods. By the time the next spawn window opens, we usually know exactly where the S rank is going to spawn. It's less true of the ARR and HW zones because those have far more spawn points than the expansion zones since but even those get mapped in advance on occasion.

You're also ignoring that fact that for some S ranks, we have to be ON their spawn point to get them to spawn. Do you honestly think spawners are going to waste their time going through every single spawn point in a zone to see if they get lucky? Of course we don't. We map the spawn point in advance then when the window is open we only have to check that one spawn point. If it doesn't spawn, we move on to try others then go back to that one single spawn point later.

I have no idea who you are getting your information from but they clearly don't know how S ranks work either, or they're looking for a pity party. Don't indulge them if it's the latter.

Yes, we will occasionally miss out but it happens far less often than some want you to think. Like I said, I've missed out 3 times over the hundreds of spawns I've done over the years. It happens, you sigh and you move on. It is not a big deal in the long run. There is always the next S rank.

I don't think they're a troll. I think they're someone who's been suckered into pity parties by drama queens on Aether and/or Primal that have made the problem sound worse than it really is.
