Pegasus Mount

Thank you for stopping by. As the title suggests, I am looking for the Pegasus Mount. But I am not familiar with the system of exploratory missions. According to the unofficial link below, you can get it this way:

"You can purchase this mount from the Spoils Collector in The Pillars (x14,y10).
It costs 99 Brass Sky Pirate Spoil.
You can earn Brass Sky Pirate Spoil by trading in gear from The Diadem (Exploratory Missions)."

But it says on fandom (unofficial website) that the Diadem was replaced by a gathering only version, which bothers me because I am not into DoH/DoL jobs.

So can I still get the Pegasus through adventuring missions forays in the diadem's exploratory missions?

You must participate in the restoration.
Turn ins are still being accepted.
I've never heard of being able to buy scripts from other players.

That part of that article is worded a little confusingly, and I think you misunderstood what they were saying as a result. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly what they intended there, but it wasn't that you can buy the scrips. That bit is either trying to say you can buy the items to turn in from other players (which is actually not true - you can at least buy the items other people gathered from the Diadem, but you will still need to craft things with them yourself), or that you can buy the actual reward from someone else who spent their scrips on it.

And it's true that a lot of the Restoration rewards can be resold, but it unfortunately isn't for this one - the Pegasus Whistle isn't something you can sell/trade to other players. So you will have to earn the scrips yourself and get it that way. I find crafting/gathering to be pretty fun and the Restoration seems like a quick and rewarding way to level, so you might as well try it out if you want that mount.

All of the DoH jobs are equally viable, with the only difference maybe being which one's crafting mats are more readily available on your server's marketboard.
The DoL jobs are the ones that can go into the diadem, and Botanist and Miner build skybuilders scripts the fastest.
