Enemy book and Free company

Hey guys am making a a FF14 enemy book and their drops am a level 33 bard at the moment but I will keep on leveling up and do my book as I go

I also want to make a free company for those that are interested on joining me I want it to be the most chill and amazing free company as it can be ding things together and going up on PVP

Yes this might sound odd but this is my first time posting on a forum if anyone is interested pls reply back and I will reply when I get back on the forum

oh btw I will also be posting my findings every week on sunday starting after new years

By 'enemy book' exactly what are you referring to? Are you creating a fan bestiary? If so, that sounds really interesting! There are a number of sites that could help you with that information (as the game is always being updated and older enemies changed or even removed completely in some rare cases): Gamerescape's FFXIV page is one such site I personally use.

As for establishing your own FC, as someone who co-runs a FC with their partner, it definetely is not easy, even if you adopt a laid-back style of leading and run as a casual FC, as you have to deal with all the complexities of human emotion, even if the group is small. People will join and leave constantly, and not always in the best of circumstances, and trying to get a FC house is yet another layer of stress. But the rewards far outway the negatives, as running your own FC really feels like a family, a close-knit group of people you share your adventures through the game with, both the good times and the bad.

Either way, a good place to start is to post in the forum for your server (in your case, Midgardsormr) and see if there are new people looking for a home willing to start things off with you (you need at least three other players to establish a FC from the beginning, but you do not need a minimum of four to keep the FC going, there just needs to be at least one person in the FC for it to exist).

i was going to do a fan beastiry but some are sating that some of the enemies change and sometimes they get deleted from the game so making a beastiary now sounds a bit more complicated and thanks for the info on the FC and ik it wont be easy but having a guild is something you got to work hard for

I thought about doing something like this just for fun myself. More of a fanfic bestiary than a gameplay relevant one, however. I even made a test entry all about FFXIV's Flan-type enemies to get a feel for what it might look like....

Was actually a lot of fun writing it up. Bestiaries are something FFXIV sorely lacks, honestly. Lore-centric ones or any other kind.

This sounds like a fun project if done in the vein of something like the movie "How to Train Your Dragon", or the dinosaur dossiers in the game ARK.

well i do want to make it like that and thats one of the reasons why i want to make a free company so we all can learn what we find and share it among others

I'd say just have fun with it. And rather than specific enemies, you could do by type.

Ex. a page for "Bomb" type enemies with what abilities they all do (explode, fire based). Notable exceptions/variants like the ice ones.

..I mean if there's a chance a specific type of bomb is ever removed, they'll never fully remove the entire "Family" of mobs.

You could even go one further and make it from your characters point of view- meaning the information neither needs to be perfectly complete or accurate. Field observations perhaps. (eg. on Bombs "They seem to resort to sacrificing themselves up when angered enough.." when actually some do not die at all)
