    BLM (controller) hotbar help

My BLM hot bars are a sin against God and I can\\'t for the life of me figure out how to make them come together.

Fellow controller using BLMs, please share your hotbars (pics preferred) and tell me a little bit about why you’ve set it up the way you have.

Maybe we can help each other and engage with the philosophy of the art of the hot bars too.

    ~Thank you

I set it up so i can do the entire rotation minus CDs with minimal hotbar switching.
I have all my frequently used skills on the same spot, and if i press L while holding R (which im doing most of the time) it switches to other often used skills. i also put frequently used cooldowns on the L side of my hotbar so that i can see them and keep track of them.

For instance i put despair on the same button as fire 4 but with L added to switch hotbar. Similarly I can also do the entire aoe rotation with only 2 of buttons (minus L).

I also put role skills + limit break in my WXHB hotbar so that theyre mapped to the same spot in all the jobs i use without moving too many things around.

the weird part is my L+R setup which is almost identical to R+L but i figured i had to put blizzard 1 and blizzard 2 somewhere... just in case i got level synced i guess.

Best hotbar space saving tip I have is to macro sprint to L3.

Set up a macro in slot 98/99 which is just:
    /ac sprint
    /ac sprint
    /ac sprint
    /ac sprint
    /ac sprint

Then in your control config you can assign macro's 98/99 to any other button.
L3 is perfect because many games use this as a sprint function. If it's not already in your muscle memory from other games then its the best method to retrain yourself on.

You've now freed up a hotbar slot for every single job.

You can assign basic control functions (like target, untarget, jump, etc.) or specifically macro slots 98 and 99.
So if there's any actions you want on them, they need to be done via macro.
