    "Unable to complete version update" [30426][19900][2]

    I have seen a few threads of this issue, I have tried everything listed, and am unsure what else to do? I am unsure about uninstalling and reinstalling? I don't want to loose my 50 + levels. I've never had to update or had any issues like this before. I have gone through the posts on this issue, and have done most of the posted steps and nothing has changed.

    When this occurs, are you connected to the router? Additionally, can you try running the game as administrator by right clicking the icon?

    I have my router (which I have restarted) plugged in via an Ethernet cable. I have run the program as an administrator, I have also followed all the posts I can find related to this in a program issue.

    I had the same issue, when all the troubleshooting steps failed I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and that fixed it for me. Very annoying, It took 4 hours to install. The game is working fine now for me.

    I had the same issue today. The solution was rather easy for me. My anti-virus program AVG put 3 files from the game folder of FFXIV into quarantine for unknown reason (ffxiv_dx11.exe and two other files). I just restored them and everything worked again after that. Hope this helps.

    Same issue today, but I got the same issue as Naorij, I restored the files and now it's working.

    Can confirm that Avast is also guilty of quarantining these files and once I restored the files and added an exception it seems to be working fine again
