    FFXIV Launcher Error

    Unable to perform version update. A problem has occurred with the .exe file for one or more of the following programs. FFXIV BOOT, FFXIV UPDATER, FFXIV LAUNCHER.
    Please reinstall the latest version of Final Fantasy XIV.
    If you continue to experience the same problem, contact SQUARE ENIX support center.

    Had the usual random disconnect (000010something) and about an hour later the blue screen of death. This message popped up after trying to log back in.

    Are you connected directly to the router when the error occurs? Additionally is the game allowed through the fire wall? Does the issue occur if the game is reinstalled?
