Servers for each Region

Servers that are LOCATED in Europe/United States are not going to happen, Square Soft just doesn't have the resources to do so. The language barrier/time zones are also problems that would be needed to dealt with, so are maintainance and keeping the server up to date.
Would FFXIV magically have more than lets say, a million subscribers, THEN maybe they would start to enhance/backup their teams in europe and America. But before we don't get rid of the horrible image we're having now, the server will stay in japan.

yes...but i'm willing to bet that Enix's appointed CEO will kill off the FF Franchise, by pulling massive financial and development resources to there flag ship titles Dues EX and Dragon Quest.....oh wait yeah...that's already happened.

It would loose SE millions if they kill off Final Fantasy, or they would have just said they are pulling the plug on all Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy is alot more successful than Enix games.

It let the fans down but FFXIII was a success, in that it made alot of profit, which is why it got a sequel, you would never make a sequel of a failure of a game. Companies don't care about customers, they make it look like that but they don't, if something makes a profit its a success end of story.

All FF games (with the exeption of FFXIV) made under SE made profit (yes alot of it from fanboys that buy anything that says Final Fantasy on it) so they were a success, end of story, if they start loosing money (like FFXIV) they will re-evaluate it and find out why it made a loss and try to fix it, before pulling the plug on the franchise (like with FFXIV)

with each title sold the image is tarnished more and more. whats delusional is for SE to think they can continue to cram this garbage down the Fans throats and not expect any repercussions.

Pretty much every one up through those released on the PSone.

Also keep in mind that all of the final fantasy titles are more successful in the East than in the West.

The ones released on PS1 were under the Squaresoft banner not Square Enix.
