Is there anything you are happy about?

I want to ask a serious question:

I see a lot of threads about housing, dungeons, trust, races, classes, story, MSQ - so on and so forth.

Some have actual good content and others are obvious troll threads.

But I have one question:

What's one thing you can actually say you are happy about in this game.

WITHOUT A BUT (ie, I love this aspect ... but ...) - none of that.

I really wanna know. It seems like the forums have fallen into a system of "complain and moan" - especially during a pandemic and at Christmas time.

I personally Love the story. I love how the latest expansion was a movie you got to play in (in other words the amount of cut scenes and length)

I mean its really the only place asides from Twitter to give feedback to the devs, or attempt. Its really cool to see how the game plays well or how bad it plays through other player's eyes. Regardless its a game we all love.

to answer your question though.

Personally, I love the game itself in its entirety good and bad. Its my one place to go get away from the real world and I can put my worries on the back burner for a few hours and have fun with others or simply by myself.

The story is the biggest draw for me. I have been playing since 1.0 and the lore has always been interesting. I try other mmos now and again but never leave xiv. I just have yet to find another mmo as polished with devs as passionate.

If ppl complain it's bcs they love the game and want it to be better, they are obvious trolls but on general ppl just want the game being better.

I personally loved the combat content a lot and DRK before the nerfs and casualization of literally everything, right now I would say I love vieras despite the huge limitations on the race and not much more, I kinda like the combat on savage and that's it but I probably not going to support the game anymore if in 6.0 things don't get better specially for DRK and tanks-healers in general.

The art department is the only thing I can't put a "but" since is 10/10 as always

It's hard to single out one thing specifically. Only thing I can say is this...

If I didn't enjoy this game I wouldn't be here.

I love the story,music, the attempt of high level customization.. i like the minions and many music pieces, i really enjoy Eden although sadly im not good with ppl or id do savage runs but im not good with the "social part of it". ... I like the alliance raids pre shadowbringers.
[I say this for 2 reasons I hate machines which is all nora is ... and 2 that doesnt belong in ff for a raid.. id be fine if it was a crossover but really.]

I like an awful lot about this game. I am happy with 95 percent of it. It’s human nature to focus on that other 5 percent but we’re generally much better than communities on most other games. Honestly if people’s biggest issue is a hat then the devs must be doing something right.

Personally I think SHB characters were phenomenal They pulled two S tier villains out back to back almost in 5.0 and 5.3 and Ryne and Gaia are absolute stars. Plus my beautiful beautiful branch.
