How do you know it sucks if you've never done it?

Trusts aren't garbage. It's an instant que for any level dungeon this Expac, all very chill and laid back. And yes, longer.
Here are some noteworthy things: if you want your group to do AoE you can grudgingly get them too if you pull enough (or overpull) but the damage is low enough that it won't help your time. Best to do small packs which will die faster. -Also Trusts seem to be programmed to pick the mob that is NOT the one you are currently attacking. This can be annoying in places like Malika's Well when trying to take out the golem mobs before they can activate.
The scions have an odd mix of skills at their disposal. Uriangier has Death, which he'll use when a mob is under half or more hp so long as no one needs a heal. Y'shtola has WHM skills mixed in with her BLM ones. Alisae has Revive and will actually use it if the healer goes down. If YOU die it's instant game over though.
Y'shtola and Alisae will both use LB if you don't. Alisae seems to do it instantly while Y'shtola will usually wait a beat or two. I've only seen Ryne LB once. I don't know why she won't since she has the most powerful one, potentially.
Graha is best boy, since he can be any role. If you take him as dps, he's basically a BLM though.
Once you level all your Trust characters to lvl 80, you can change their appearance back to their earlier incarnations. Including Graha Tia. You can make him the Crystal Exarch once more. Though Thancred, depending on the level of duty, will refer to Ryne as Minfillia or vice versa even if you have her changed to the other (at least since last I checked).
Ryne and Alphinaud are the worst at the tightrope in Don Mheg. Keep that in mind if you are also bad at it.
I love Trusts. Especially for gear/loot farming. Yes, they could be better but that's the trade off for not using Duty Finder. And sometimes the battle banter is amusing. XD

Trust do exactly what they're supposed to do: give players a suboptimal way to run dungeons solo. They're supposed to be "bad" in comparison to a decent player group.
I forgot the Trust system existed...

I second this, and think we should take it a few steps further. Make Ryne an All-Rounder and allow us to take four Rynes with us into dungeons. One can tank, one can heal, the other two can DPS, and I can cheer them on from the sidelines. Maybe even give them cookies and other snacks when they beat the dungeon.

For me the biggest problem is when you take an NPC into a dungeon they didn't visit in the story, like Thancred/Urianger/Y'Sthola in the first dungeon. Did don't say anything besides their lines when using abilities. No battle banter, no interaction, no commenting the area. It becomes very dead, almost as much as a normal run with players.
If they're doing more of this, they need to expand on the NPC interaction to make it feel more alive. Could also be fun when we're getting more NPCs to discover fun interactions between them. Maybe Alphinaud would fangirl over Estinien, Yugiri commenting on Thancred's new combat style.
I like the trust system. 1st time to learn a dungeon and using it to farm for glamour. I would use it more if you didn't need to level the npc. Like why? Just let me use them in any dungeon rather than needing to leveling them up to 80.
