Is it Lore friendly for a First to travel to the Source?

I just returned to FFXIV, so I wasn't around during the time when Yoshida stated in a Kotaku Article that it's fine for someone in the Source to travel to the First is lore friendly...

But I was wondering if the said could be applied Vice Versa? Like say, a Ronso from the First traveling to the Source is ok. I am sure people have asked this but like I said, I was not around or playing FFXIV during the time so, if anyone did ask- It's buried in the forums

I ask, cause I had a cute idea for a Character and First RP is VERY limited- a bit too much, for me to invest in such a character.

Keep in mind, I just returned so I am not all caught up with the story thus far and what has been going on in the RP community...

To be honest I've run into a couple characters that have done this, some better than others. Depending on when, how, characterization and context it can be done fine.

I would say anyone running around screaming I'M A RONSO is probably not a good example. Your character has landed in an odd world and probably not going to spill who/what he is so quickly. He'd learn the basics of where he landed at least and get a grasp of the situation, much like the WoL did, but without the luck of a higher official guiding them.

If your character's been on the Source for a while (especially before the WoL went, when the flow of time now matches between worlds) you can probably have them do small slips, have odd habits or sayings, and pass them off as quirks.

Perhaps your character was forced over and lost some memories and now they try to find them? This can be fun when trying to find parallels from the First to the Source (Rat'tika vs The Shroud, for example).

I think it's possible and with how influx the aether of the First is, you can vague it pretty well I think. Have fun! That's the whole point of RP!
