Dear Yoshi, about your stance on Saddles for Coeurl mounts...

Please consider sticking and pushing the saddle-less Coeurl mounts. I know in the Live letter the dev team wanted them to keep the quality high but I feel you can still add just as much if not more quality without saddles since a wild coeurl seems far more likely and realistic than a domesticated one. Quality doesnt have to dropped when you remove detail either since less can be more in other ways....For example people ride bareback on horses all the time and can hold onto the horse in different ways and with a coeurl people can hang on by holding a tuff of its hair or mane. And you can even add further detail by making motions require tugs on the said tuff of hair that cause reactions from the coeurl like a snarky growl or something that can again trigger a reaction from the character like an apologetic pat.

I know this is a pretty tall order but the team has had a lot of tall orders placed on it and it has always produced with great results and I know whatever is decided will be great but please keep pushing your ideas! And lastly I would like to take this time to say Thanks for all the hard work that has produced many hours of fun and entertainment for us.

I dunno, saddles might help out in a way. You could attach a stick with a ball of yarn hanging in front of your coeurl mount so that it will keep running :3

The ball of yarn should be used when you dismount and dismiss the coeurl, so you would hop off pull a ball out of yarn and s/he goes running after it in the distance....that or you could use a laser pointer =P

So if you don't have a saddle what're you gonna do, grab on to its antennae to keep from falling off?

I think a saddle would look out of place on a Coeurl... it's not really a riding animal in the first place. Besides, cats hate any type of chokers/restricting garment.

Well, the big thing about saddles too is it's supposed to make riding easier and more comfortable. People get "saddle sores" from riding extended amounts of time, but I think being directly on the back of an animal and feeling its whole body shift around while moving around would be even worse.

Also saddles are not just for safety and comfort of the rider but the animal! Think of that poor saddleless couerl bearing the weight of a platemail wearer as well as the pressure on a specific point on its back and not distributing that weight!!! Poor kitty going to have a broken back and become lame ; ;!!!!

I think the saddle is quite necessary, considering the types of armor we're known for wearing...

Besides, a Coeurl with add-ons would look so cool.
