    Can't log in on new computer

    I just got this new laptop yesterday, downloaded the game, and when I went to launch it, I get an error, but I can't read it as it's in Japanese. The game won't launch, at all. I've never had this problem before. What should I do?

    my continuing problem

    I was finally able to get to the log in screen, but now when I click on a character, it says it has encountered an unexpected error. I'm at a loss at what to do.

    Are you able to provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
