Help, Game Keeps Crashing

So, this has been happening for the past couple of days where the game has constantly crashed to the point where now it is crashing on the loading screen after selecting my character. Sometimes it will give a DirectX error, other times it just crashes with no warning. This is a fairly new problem since I've playing since August and I haven't had this problem until Thursday. I thought waiting for today's update would help, but after updating it's still crashing.

I have updated my computer completely, updated my drivers all the way, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but now I'm out of ideas. I'm just confused because my computer hasn't had any troubles running the game until now.

Does the crash occur if the game is installed on the C drive? Is anything over heating when the crash occur?

I originally had the game installed on my C:/ drive when the crashing started, so I installed to my D:/ drive thinking it would fix the problem, and it didn't. I also thought it was a overheating problem, but this doesn't happen with other games with the same graphics. I also have a cooling pad and my fans turned on the highest setting. But my computer doesn't have the chance to heat up since the game is now crashing on the loading screen after selecting my character.

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs
3) Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system
4) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
5) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
6) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything
