I've been away for about a year and I'm just now getting back into game. All my old friends have moved on. I'm looking for a friendly vibe, close-knit group.

Same. I'd really like to join an RP-based FC that does a bit more than just hold house parties (I like house parties, but I don't want lounge RP to be the extent of everything I do). Not really interested in raiding much; not really chasing BiS gear... just want to play the game with other like-minded people.

Have you guys tried using lodestone community finder? The only ads up are from FCs actively recruiting since they have to make it themselves.
