Half of a ward being owned by one person

Im in the EU data center, server Moogle there is a "person" who made multiple accounts with slight variations to the first name and the same "FC" for all of the house plots. They own 12! It's insane and it has been owned for months now. I sent a ticket to SE and haven't heard anything yet, but man this is nuts....I wish they would actually take the plots from them as they are not being in use. . .

If they truly did make multiple accounts as you claim, Square isn't going to do anything because they are effectively multiple paying customers all following the rules.

Please note that each account qualifies as an individual player, regardless of whether or not both players are the same real person. If SE changed their stance on this, they would only be discouraging people who want to pay extra. So keep in mind that anyone who buys a second account is entitled to double what any single account holder has.

Currently, any one account can acquire 1 personal and 8 FC houses per world. In the past, 8 personal and 8 FC was possible. If SE wanted to fix multiple house ownership, they would limit FC houses per account to 1.* I don't know their reasoning behind allowing it.

So your 12 house owner is on at least 2 accounts. That means that even if players were restricted to 1 FC 1 personal per account, that person would have legitimate access to 4 houses - or more, with more accounts. Currently the person has access to 18 houses with two accounts. Expect a form response to your ticket, the house owner is not violating any game rules.

*Permanently. Previously, FC houses were limited to one per account - but only temporarily.

It's extremely likely that the houses are, in fact, in use - they're just being used for their workshops.

I agree with OP is very frustrating, we have a similar situation on Louisoix, one of the new wards houses in mist is owned entirely by one person and ive been up to those houses and entered them and there is nothing in there and nothing has been done to them. Been like it for a while, frustrating for those that just want one..... T_T

I was checking out Spriggan's housing wards, and someone owns almost TWO entire wards in The Goblet. TWO! What a joke. The housing in this game is so good yet so incredibly annoying at the same time, like if you're new good luck getting even a small plot.
They keep adding new wards, doesn't matter unless you're there the moment they go live.

Even if they add Ishgard housing, won't matter. All plots will already be taken if you're too late.

The only upside is that that person actually uses and decorates all those houses with great care to set up a RP ward. Still sucks, yeah, but as long as multiple accounts are used and people stay true to the rules SE won't do anything.

An account should not be able to buy and lead 8 FC's. That needs to stop. If people want to pay multiple subs and buy additional housing more power to them. Flagging an account the minute a main or alt is promoted to Leader should stop the appointing of another alt on that account from being leader somewhere else. They do it with private sales and need to do it with FC leadership.

I have an alt on Spriggan with a small FC and know exactly who you're talking about. Those homes for the most part were purchased during the period of FC exclusivity I might add.

Flagging an account the minute a main or alt is promoted to Leader should stop the appointing of another alt on that account from being leader somewhere else.

They did that for like two weeks and quietly reversed it.

They've never said why, but personally I think it's because it probably caused problems with the automatic leader transfer (if the FC leader is offline more than 35 days it changes to someone else, which it probably couldn't do, at least not to the people it should have, because of the temporary restrictions).

They never reversed it, it's just not a foolproof system.
