What about a specific FC housing zone?

While I was looking for a house this week, I was wondering; would it be an interesting idea for Free Companies to have their own specific district? Not that they can't be in all residential if they want, but offer a specific zone just for FC's, like a University/College town vibe.

It could open opportunities for players to interact with one another more and get to know people on their server while allowing Free Company owners to organize block party events and the sort. Can you imagine 30 FC houses open, all in walking distance?

I see the game growing and being progressive with their housing system. Maybe call it "College Station" adding it to each residential district. IDK.. tossin around ideas!

What are your thoughts and how can you imagine changes and improvements to in-game housing?

When the housing wards were first introduced, only FCs could purchase a plot. The wards remained mostly empty, though whether it was lack of interest in FCs owning a house or if it was the price structure at the time is hard to say. Likely it was a combination of both. The game in general, and housing specifically, has changed enough since then that it might be worth revisiting.

The only drawback I can think of would be the zone population limit. With that many FCs, there's a chance that the limit would be reached and some players wouldn't be able to get to their FC house until others chose to leave.

Right now, I'd rather focus on fixing the supply issue for players rather than trying to expand on what content is available through housing. Let's make sure every who wants a house can get one first then add more content to it. Otherwise, you're going to end up with another substantial chunk of player base left out because they and their FC still can't get a house.
