This... until we see the finished product, it's hard to say what is needed... What we suggest could completely clash with whats coming....

Yea... this game could use hundreds of something to do...
And since it's a role playing game centered around combat... then those things should be battles
and since Final Fantasy battles have always been very epic monster oriented, then yes, those battles should be with Notorious Monsters
But I am getting tired of agreeing with you... so I don't like your hair....
The biggest thing this game needs is something that we can not only sink hundreds of hours into, but also get some sort of visceral reward from doing.
Exploring maps in 2.0 is one of the things I am talking about. Thankfully Yoshida seems to apreciate the fact that it's not only instilling a sense of exploration and fear of the unknown but also giving us a task that could possibly take ages to fully complete and only build upon that with new zones.
Things like card games, casinos, bestiaries that don't really "Reward" you with something like a new axe or new hat, but with the accomplishment of completing your collection, winning it big, or loosing it all.
The game needs things to experience that aren't geared around the main fulcrum point of endgame. Yoshida said himself we wants a themepark feeling well getting us more than one thing to focus on (Our characters are the only thing to focus on as we speak) is one of those things.
Casino games (Minigames whatever)
Collectable cards
Bestiary
Amazing quest lines
Dynamic housing (Furnishing yada yada)
Achievments
Exploration
All of these things need to be present (Some are in the works and slightly ingame as is) for a true sprawling experience to be acheived. I hope Yoshida is well on his way to designing the proper themepark for us and not making it a childs waterpark with shallow and hollow content.
- Card game fully supported in game with no additional service fee. Make it happen SE.
- Gambler class.
- Summoner class.
- More than 3 cities and a handful of outposts. I want to see some additional cities that matter, but aren't as important as the major three/four.
- Collections similar to EQ2 style
- Insanely deep housing customization systems (EQ2 + SWG style)
- 2.0 In general.

Oh, deary, me.
Oh, I forgot to mention more towns. Towns with their own music.
likeselbinaandmhaura. Make them useful as well.fishing, crafting, just a place to take a break from massive cities, and lifeless hamlets.
Also hopefully Sharlayan and Ala Migho will be fully explorable cities, but who knows.
A supped up version of BCNMs, a supped up version of campaign and a supped up version of version of limbus. Any kinda time sink like thing thats a lot of fun.
Accessibility. A game environment which suits as many people as possible.
I want to log in and do something right away with the time I have left, and get on with business.
