Which is a shame because, having more time to think about it (and doing some research) ... I wouldn't count on a single player version ever being released if only because it sounds like an impossible business case to make.
That game handles basically everything server side so it would have to be built from the ground up to be entirely local, and from what I understand that's why it took forever just to get private servers.

Yeah, SINoALICE has done a lot to show me how the mobile MMO market has changed its shape.

And Crystal Chronicles has me hungry for a good* CO-OP FF game.
(*CC is a good game but yikes that multiplayer)
