Agreed. One example I see a lot in JP pick-up parties is wanting a MRD who can switch to BLM for Chimera. I'm a melee player at heart so I will probably never get my BLM to 50 and it kinda sucks that I don't get a shot at 5 chest just because of that. I have 3 level 50 jobs so it's not that I'm lazy or anything, just doesn't fit my play style.
