    Doe the error occur if headphones are plugged into the PC? Additionally wee any updates or changes made to the PC?

    My headphones are connected to the audio jack in the back of my PC. There was only one Window 10 update that occurred right before the sound problems have occurred. No other changes were made.

    I did roll back the Window 10 update but it did not help at all.

    All playback devices are disabled except for my main one. In the audio mixer, the Final Fantasy XIV application shows sound playing on the device, but there isn't any sound when the game is open, even if I am tabbed into the game. All options for the sound are on within Final Fantasy XIV.
