War should be able to get through very easily with Nascent Flash and Vengeance for massive pulls

There are some dungeons that are easier to solo on my BLM then my DRK. I cant speak for Ala Mhigo, as i got the mount back from a roulette run a couple years ago and have no reason to go back. But oftentimes just nuking the boss down before it can do anything dangerous is better then trying to survive certain mechanics.

Really the only thing that limits DPS from soloing old dungeons is either they don't have enough healing or tank busters/group stack mechanics kill them outright. Best example is trying to solo Ghimlyt Dark on a DPS. The first boss will pretty much kill you with the group stack marker. It might be different now in i510~i530 gear, but in 5.2 and before, had to be on tank or healer to solo Ghimlyt Dark.
By comparison, during 5.2/5.3, DPS could solo the first boss in The Burn, despite its tank buster, just as long as they killed it quickly enough. The second boss, however, just deals too much damage too quickly, and again, it falls to needing a Tank or Healer to get through. RDM counts in this due to Vercure.
As far as I was able to take a DPS with decent healing ability(melees) last patch was beating the second boss of Swallow's Compass. And that was a barely sort of thing. It's pretty fun, but there's a hard limit due to gear, and the fights not being designed for soloing.
It's pretty funny how far it skews in the other direction though. For instance, even Shadowbringers Normal mode raids in the first Eden tier can be soloed by a PLD that manages their MP. It just takes an ungodly long amount of time. An older raid that doesn't have an enrage still takes a long time, for instance, the Sigmascape Kefka fight. Its normal mode has no enrage, and takes an i500 PLD roughly 21 minutes to complete.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
