Hello,
I would like to farm the mount from Ala Mhigo.
Which job is better for solo this dungeon, - a paladin or a white mage at max lvl?

Paladin, you can pull more, never get interrupted, and AOE potential is better. WHM honestly probably about the same, but PLD probably more braindead for spamming it. Either should crush it in any ilvl over 470. Melee DPS was able to solo it at i460 or whatever likely lower too, so you shouldn't have any problems.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I did it with GNB. Seemed to go relatively smooth. Decent damage output and being able to heal every few seconds through Brutal Shell helped. I was also able to do pretty standard pulls that most would expect through the Duty Finder. I'm guessing if you're any sort of tank it's a walk in the park.
IMO, if a class has the ability to solo a dungeon then they all should. This business of some classes OP and some not is bologna. That crud used to go on in WoW also. I could set my Pally to fight a high level mob, go to the RR, make a snack and com back and she would still be very much alive lol. I do not want to make tanks here. I enjoy my healer and bard, why should I be penalized because of that? Just my opinion, I am sure others will rage over it.

When it comes to PotD and HoH...I wholeheartedly agree. Otherwise things are working as intended.IMO, if a class has the ability to solo a dungeon then they all should. There's a mount that drops from that dungeon?
O:
Yep, the Magitek Predator (there's a mob that looks like it near the beginning). It's quite rare drop, I remember when it was new it took a group i roped in on PF almost all day to get it for at least 3 of us.
On the OP subject, I think PLD would be more braindead but I think it's a matter of opinion there. I personally have soloed this Dungeon as red mage since like the beginning of ShB and have a pretty smooth run
Red Mage may as well be a tank, they can take a beatdown but they can also heal well.Yep, the Magitek Predator (there's a mob that looks like it near the beginning). It's quite rare drop, I remember when it was new it took a group i roped in on PF almost all day to get it for at least 3 of us.

pretty much anything that isn't BLM or Range DPS can solo ala mhigo
but tanks and Rdm have the easiest time
It was also available for Moogle Tomestones. So some easy 5 minutes AV runs on BLU and done.
