Account payment options 30,90,180 day cycle

I would like to purchase the 180 day payment cycle as my payment option. When i visit the lodestone, the support forums FAQ, and the account management page itself, the 180 day payment cycle is listed as an option.

The problem is that when i go to update my payment cycle, 180 days is not an option! ... Only 30 and 90 days are listed. I have opened a chat call, and recently sent an email support request to find out why.

As we all know, the customer service from this company is probably the worst ever ^^; ... so in short i got absolutely no answers at all. (i was even surprised that they didn't even try ; ; )

Can anyone in the community help me understand why it's not offered as an option? ... or if i have to do something special ?_?

After making another support request and raising some hell ^^; .... i finally got a response!

I thought i would share since i made this post here ...

Unfortunately, the 180 day subscription for Final Fantasy XIV is no longer available. This billing option was removed in preparation for the advent of version 2.0 of the game.

I hope this helps someone else that is looking for this option, sees all the text saying it is available on the lodestone, management system, and help explanations and FAQ. I guess they just haven't updated or announced this yet ?_?

In other news, it sounds like there's a reasonable chance 2.0 will be out 180 days from now.
