Not sure how, but my UI reset itself to how I had it 2 months ago : /

I logged in tonight and once the game was up I immediately noticed my UI was all sorts of wrong.

Too big, everything's in the wrong place etc and I thought the game had reset it to default for a moment (which I've had happen a few times) but I quickly noticed that no, it's not default.

It's how I had it set up a little over 2 months ago.

I'm not even sure how as every time the game reset to default I had to manually rebuild the UI how I wanted it.
I couldn't find any way to easily reset what I had before.

I don't suppose anyone here has some experience with saved UI settings so I can get the UI I had this morning back?

Not much you can do now, but on the character select screen you have he option to upload/download your UI settings.
When you do get it how you want it again, you can upload your character data, then if it ever goes wrong again, you just redownload your settings.

This^. I upload mine about once a month actually, because this includes your macros and I change mine often enough, or create new ones. Upload that character and data settings, so you can download them later if you need to once you have everything in its place.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear!

Well, maybe not exactly... but it's really close and means a little effort on my part will then see this particular game issue yeeted into oblivion.

Use the backup option more often...
How often do you change your UI?

in addition to backing up, save your UI in one of the presets like #4 for example just in case if you hit something by mistake you can simply reload a preset that way as well.
